Our plan was to move up in home price and view real estate for sale in the middle to upper end of our bracket. On the day of our search there were over 140 homes that met their basic criteria for search. Needless to say many of these were weeded out initially by a quick look online.
Our first stop of the day in our search for homes was Hidden Pines. Homes for sale in these areas can quickly approach around 500,000 dollars, but real estate in this neighborhood can be found for under 300k if you know where to look! Hidden Pines has been part of a consistent and growing market in Panama City Beach.
In Panama City Beach, real estate prices in exclusive neighborhoods such as Bay Pointare likely to hold value, so a home in this neighborhood, at a good price, is likely to turn out to be a sound investment, especially when taken as a long term real estate investment. Bay Point also offer quite a few other high end homes with waterfront and gulf canal access. This neighborhood also has two golf courses and home to the Bay Point Resort with two restaurants.
Delwood, located right across from the golf course of Bay Point, is a wonderful little neighborhood and has the convenience of Bay Point, but typically at a tad bit of a discounted price!
Much like the other areas, homes for sale in Summer Breeze have a wide range of prices. Phase one homes in Summer Breeze can be found in the 350K and under dollar range. Other phases, such as Summer Breeze Phase II have homes well over 500K. This is a popular neighborhood with a good diversity of floor plans and styles of homes for sale.
Following North Lagoon drive, we headed for Grand Lagoon. An area with some nice homes for sale in Panama City Beach. One nice characteristic of the neighborhood is the availability of homes for sale with pools. Seeing how that amenity is on the check-list, Grand Lagoon was a must visit neighborhood. In fact, when we were shopping the neighborhood, we did see a home or two that might just fit.
Our last and final stop on our tour was the Summerwood and Palmetto Trace area. The homes of Summerwood and Palmetto Trace in Panama City Beach are just down right neat. These homes are the perfect starter home, middle end home, or retirement step down home. They are all master planned and have a community pool for your enjoyment…just in case you want the pool but not the headache!
